This is such a delicious recipe to have as an alternative to potato mash and a great way to get children to eat more veg!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 250ml of stock, vegetable or chicken
  • 1 or 2 garlic cloves

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Boil cauliflower in stock until soft you may need a little more water depending on how much cauliflower you have but don’t add too much as you want to mash to have a good consistency.
  • Crush the garlic cloves and add to the cauliflower when finished boiling. You can lightly fry the garlic first if you prefer then add to the cauliflower.
  • Mash together and serve. Try adding some other spices or ingredients for example, chives or spring onion.
