Working out a lot? Looking to curb hunger pangs? Struggle to get enough protein on a vegan diet? No matter what your reasons for boosting your daily protein intake, our new range of Plain Protein Powders can help.

They each contain all 9 essential amino acids and are easy to incorporate into your daily diet. Stir them into soups and sauces, add extra protein to your daily Purition – if you need to, or use them in baking or protein pancake recipes.

Each of our Plain Protein Powders is pure, all-natural and 100% free from artificial flavours, sweeteners and additives. This means they’re easy for your body to digest and absorb.

If you’re confused about which powder to pick, or are looking for tips on how to incorporate them into your daily routine, this Plain Protein Powder guide is for you.

Whey Protein Isolate

  • Triple-filtered whey from milk
  • Contains all nine essential amino acids
  • 23g protein per serving | 93% protein
  • Good source of calcium, phosphorus & potassium

Our British Whey Protein Isolate is made from triple-filtered British milk from grass-fed, hormone-free cows in Wales.

The intensive filtering process results in a high protein content, with very little sugar and fat. It’s ultra-low in lactose, which makes it a great choice if you can’t tolerate dairy well.

It mixes easily, has a neutral taste profile and provides the highest protein content of all our natural protein powders.

Whey Protein Concentrate

  • Twice-filtered whey from milk
  • Contains all nine essential amino acids
  • 21g protein per serving | 82% protein
  • Good source of calcium, phosphorus & potassium

Our British Whey Protein Concentrate is made from twice-filtered British milk from grass-fed, hormone-free cows in Wales.

As it’s only filtered twice, it contains slightly less protein, but a little more natural milk fat and lactose, than our Whey Protein Isolate. This results in a smooth-mixing powder with a slightly creamier texture and taste.

While Whey Protein Isolate may be a better choice if you’re intolerant to dairy, both Concentrate and Isolate will digest in the body at the same rate and contain similar amounts of amino acids.

Premium Golden Pea Protein

  • French golden split peas
  • Contains all nine essential amino acids
  • 20g protein per serving | 80% protein
  • Good source of calcium, vitamins C & E, plus B vitamins

Our Premium Golden Pea Protein Powder is made in Europe from French golden split peas.

The protein is extracted via water filtration, resulting in a clean taste and nutritious, high-quality source of vegan protein.

Pea protein is an eco-friendly choice, boasting a short supply chain and no use of nitrogen fertilizers or chemical solvents. Golden split peas also result in a higher protein yield per hectare than animal proteins.

It’s 100% plant-based, lactose-free and hypoallergenic and provides the highest protein content of all our vegan plain protein powders.

Premium Hemp Protein

  • British hemp
  • Contains all nine essential amino acids
  • 13g protein per serving | 50% protein
  • Good source of iron, magnesium and zinc, plus B vitamins

Our Premium Hemp Protein Powder is produced in Devon from raw, European grown hemp seeds.

The seeds are pressed for their oil and the remainder of the seed is stone-ground into a fine and pure protein powder.

If you want to keep things planet-happy, our Hemp Protein Powder is a great choice. Hemp absorbs more CO2 per hectare than any other forest or commercial crop and even improves the condition of the soil that it grows in.

It’s also 100% plant-based, lactose-free, hypoallergenic and comes with the added benefit of heart-healthy polyunsaturated fats and fibre.

Organic Sunflower Protein

  • European organic sunflower seeds
  • Contains all nine essential amino acids
  • 13g protein per serving | 50% protein
  • Good source of magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and calcium

Our Organic Sunflower Seed Protein is made in Germany from European-grown organic sunflower seeds.

It is made by roasting sunflower seeds and cold-pressing them for their oil. The remaining seed is then ground into a smooth protein powder.

It is 100% organic, plant-based, lactose-free and easy to digest. It’s also particularly high in magnesium, plus fibre, to support gut and digestive health.

It is 100% organic, plant-based, lactose-free and easy to digest. It’s also particularly high in fibre and omega-3 fatty acids to support your wider health.

Plain protein powder benefits

Our Plain Protein Powders are a simple and effective way to increase your intake of high-quality protein. No cooking. No prep. Just a quick scoop, stir, blend or mix in and you’re good to go.

Unlike traditional supplements, our Plain Protein Powders are pure, unflavoured and made from the highest quality ingredients. They contain nothing artificial, and there’s no crazy list of hard-to-pronounce ingredients. This makes them easier on your stomach and better for your long-term health.

Plain Protein Powders can be especially beneficial if you’re living an active lifestyle, need to meet a high protein target or, for whatever reason, struggle to obtain sufficient protein through your everyday meals.

But almost everyone can benefit from getting more protein into their daily routine. Eating a high-protein diet can help you to:

  • Build lean muscle: Protein is made up of amino acids, which help to repair and maintain muscle tissue.
  • Reduce your appetite: Protein increases the levels of 3 appetite-reducing hormones and takes longer to digest than carbs.
  • Burn more calories: Protein has a higher thermic effect than carbs and fat, which means it can help you to burn more calories.
  • Strengthen your bones: Protein makes up 50% of your bone structure, aids in calcium absorption and provides key nutrients for bone health.
  • Improve your sleep: Protein contains tryptophan, an amino acid that boosts the sleep-regulating hormone melatonin.

How to use plain protein powder

Our natural plain protein powders are versatile and fairly neutral in taste, which means they make a great addition to a huge variety of sweet and savoury recipes.

2. Make your own protein soup

Stir our favourite powder into your favourite soups for a instant protein upgrade, without sacrificing flavour.

3. Bake protein bars & bakes

Get creative with protein balls, baked protein oats, protein pancakes, homemade protein bars and more—the opportunities are endless!

4. Stir into savoury recipes

Add a scoop to vegan dishes, stir them into sauces, try them in casseroles. Get creative and see what works for you.

5. Add to breakfast dishes

Stir into your morning bowl of oats, add to pancakes or mix into a serving of yoghurt for a quick and easy breakfast protein boost.
