Can I have Purition if I have a thyroid disorder?

Yes, you can. There is plenty of conflicting information on nutrition and thyroid disorders, however there is no specific diet that is helpful in treating (or preventing) thyroid disorders.

If you are being treated for a thyroid disorder, you will know that supplementation must be done with extreme caution and with medical supervision only.

Thankfully, Purition is not a supplement and therefore does not contain megadoses of synthetic vitamins and minerals that you would need to be cautious of. It contains only nutrients, vitamins and minerals that are naturally present in the whole food ingredients – and nothing in excess.

So, Purition is suitable for most people, including those with a thyroid disorder, and can be a great addition to a healthy and balanced diet.

If you have a medical diagnosis of thyroid disorder (such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism) and are taking medication such as levothyroxine, liothyronine or thionamides such as carbimazole to manage the condition, please consult your healthcare professional/dietitian before making any changes to your diet and/or embarking on a weight loss journey.
