Are you a breakfast lover, loather or skipper?

For decades, we have been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we completely agree and regardless of or whatever the reasons are for that, the difference you feel, both physically and mentally, on the days you do or don’t have breakfast you can’t ignore.

The proof is definitely in the eating - or not, as the case may be. “Breakfast: A meal eaten in the morning, the first of the day”

Love breakfast? Loathe it? Or just skip it altogether?

You can imagine, we’re all huge fans of breakfast here at PHQ (Purition Head Quarters), and think that all meals of the day are equally as important and enjoyable! In all seriousness breakfast is a once a day opportunity to give yourselves a really great start to the day nutritionally. Once breakfast has passed it’s difficult to make up those missed macro and micro nutrients throughout the day. Every week day we all enjoy a wholefood shake for breakfast in PHQ kitchen!

The combination of protein, fibre and healthy fats that ideally you should consume in the first meal of the day, help keep you feeling full for hours while providing you with an incredible array of naturally occurring nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Helping you feel good, feel full and your sugar levels balanced – no need for that mid-morning sugar fix!

If you’re a breakfast loather or skipper but you appreciate that you need to change that, then it’s essential that breakfast is quick and appetizing! The thing with breakfast is that you just need to ‘do it’, like getting up and brushing your teeth in the morning. You just get on with it, it’s normal, automatic! If you know what you’re having, it’s stress free to prepare then there’s no excuse – there’s no downside… you can only benefit!

We love Purition for this! It’s simple, speedy and no nonsense! Just blend 4 scoops (40g) of Purition with about 250-300ml of milk / unsweetened nut milk and a few ice cubes for about 30 seconds, and drink straight away.
