

Our Chocolate Beetroot Brownie recipe is inspired by one of our favourites created by the amazing Amelia Freer. We’ve swapped out and added some extras to make it our own.
Enjoy this recipe as a treat and inline with your way of healthy eating. For us, it’s a real weekend treat with a cup of tea on a Saturday afternoon!
What you need:
140g Nut butter – we used almond
40g Purition Beetroot & Chocolate
5 tbsp Cold water
½ tsp Sea salt
½ tsp Bicarbonate of soda
25g Coconut sugar
½ tsp Vanilla extract
100g 70% Dark Chocolate, roughly chopped
25g Mixed nuts, roughly chopped (optional)
How to make them:
Preheat oven to 140c/ 275f/ Gas mark 1.
Line a small baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Add and combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Pour the mix into the lined baking tray and gently push out to the corners using the back of a metal spoon.
Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes in the tin.
Cut into desired squares/ portions.
